EPIC - 90th Workrole Training Plans

Background

We need each individual to have a plan for training all the necessary aspects (individual KSAT) of conducting their workrole (aka "job") here at the 90th. This needs to include both formal/structured events such as going to a classes as well as a program of mentorship/On-The-Job training to meet those training goals which don't yet(or wont ever) have other ways to satisfy them.

Desire

I want to plan out how we will get the idea of these training roadmaps from the current proof-of-concept stage into actual use by members of the 90th.

Questions that need to be answered

  1. How do contractors use these plans.
  • Draft Answer: Contractors will be required to sign off on these training plans as part of their workrole requirements. They will be required to identify mentors from within their company and/or contract to help them satisfy the OJT elements of the training plan. For external/commercial courses their companies will be required to train those KSATs by either emulating the course plan or training them alternatively. Government offered courses (like orientation) would be open to attendance to satisfy KSAT's which are government specific. Courses that teach non-government KSAT's (like IDF) would NOT be open to contractors. Lastly, contractors will be expected to satisfy OJT items while either working on product, or during administrative time. Government hours may not be used to satisfy non-government KSATs.
  1. What is the rollout timeline and for who?
  • 2.1 When do we brief leadership?
  • 2.2 Who are the first to get/use these OJT checklists (init ans: CYT first, then Sr Devs)

Objectives as part of this epic:

  • live, eat, breathe our own JQR/OJT/MQT products (aka Dogfood) This means we all get our signups and starting training ourselves. This is important to work out bugs and issues with this plan ourselves before subjecting others to it.
