This story is larger than the scope of release 1.2
Can we just add the license file to bigbang repo for now? And then we can cut this release.

No, this is a mandate that it has to be done by Friday.

Josh, a lot of this is grunt work. Tell me what to do and i can help get it done.

what tom said, this is out of our hands and required for the next release.

that being said it's just copy pasting, I'll get it done in the next hour.

further discussion with team, direction forward is to just add this license to the BigBang product repository

further work will be done (with legal) to determine whether or not the apache 2 license should be applied to all repositories

leaving this issue open for further discussion and tracking of licenses, but removing from 1.2 as the intent is met
