k3d-dev.sh not running userdata

Description

k3d-dev.sh may not be running userdata as it's intended to; which means the open file limits are not getting modified upon EC2 creation.

This ultimately results in the clusters having 'Too many open file' errors when running multiple applications, and puts the pods into crashloopbacks

Example:
