Clean up `bbctl update` command remnants

Implemented in #194 (closed) but ultimately superseded by #196 (closed) which moved the "Check For Updates" functionality behind version --check-for-updates instead, most of the scaffolding from the bbctl update command is no longer needed and implies functionality that is no longer there.
