This velero update to 1.12.0 has only been tested/works with kubectl versions 1.25.7, 1.26.5, 1.26.7, and 1.27.3 per vmware-tanzu/velero: Backup and migrate Kubernetes applications and their persistent volumes (github.com) so we will downgrade kubectl 1.27.6 -> 1.27.3 to accommodate this update
