# GitLab Runner UBI offline build

UBI-based images can be built in an isolated environment with limited access to the Internet.
In such an environment, the build scripts must download the binary dependencies from
[our releases S3 bucket](https://gitlab-runner-downloads.s3.amazonaws.gitlab.com/ubi-images/). They also need
access the official UBI software repositories.
