Custom CA's not working with harbor core

using harbor v2.8.2 we are unable to get custom-ca's into the cert bundle in /etc/pki/tls/certs/ca-bundle.crt. in the entrypoint.sh it tries to run install_cert.sh but this fails as it gets an error that the current OS is not Photon and skips appending the ca bundle.
