Research Spike: Identify images in IBFE DB that do not have projects in Repo1
Determine if there are moved or deleted Repo1 projects in the IBFE DB
-
This ticket can only be worked once the IBFE DB migration has been successfully completed
In a previous discussion with the Iron Bank Front End (IBFE) team about the upcoming data migration from the repo_map files in S3 to their DB, it was asked if there were repo_map files for projects that have since been deleted from Repo1. This was brought up to Josh Eason, and to his knowledge, we have not deleted approved projects, as these are the only projects that should be creating repo_map files.
Correcting any build data will be easier to do once this is stored in a DB vs the current repo_map files. Due to this, once the migration has happened, we should investigate if this DB has projects that do not have a corresponding Repo1 project, indicating the project was moved (renamed) or deleted. If it is found that there are projects that have been moved or deleted, a list of these projects should be created, and a meeting should be scheduled to review the findings. This meeting needs to at lease have representation from the IBFE's developers, Ram, POPs, and Josh Eason.
TODO
-
For all of the projects in the IBFE DB, determine if they have an accompanying Repo1 project. - If any are found to not have a Repo1 project, add these to a list and attempt to determine if the project was moved or deleted.
Conditional
-
If any of these such projects are found, schedule a meeting to review them, and decide on what, if anything, should be done.
Acceptance Criteria
- Research moved or deleted Repo1 projects for images in the IBFE DB completed
- If necessary, hold meeting and determine what actions should be taken, and create any tickets for this required work
