Load Balancer stuck in pending state when using ingress gateway type LoadBalancer

I have deployed Bigbang Release 1.25.1. We are using AWS and running vanilla kubernetes cluster(v1.20.14+rke2r2) with ranchers(v2.5.3). Our external-ip field for the service is stuck on pending. is there a workaround for this as well? I have looked at the mutiple ingress docs which recommended us to use --cloud-provider flag. Any suggestions?

I would review our pre-requisites document. Autoprovisioning of LB services is a prereq and falls outside of the scope of BB so we can't necessarily provide support on that (this is a kubernetes distro level configuration).

I would advise attempting to use the reference --cloud-provider option for your RKE2 config/install and beyond that I'd recommend reading through RKE2 docs to find any other config that may be required. Feel free to let us know if you run into issues on the Big Bang side once you get the prerequisite configuration up and running.

@micah.nagel One more question regarding Sonarqube SAML SSO config, I am trying to use sonarSecretProperties so that i don't have to hardcode the certifcate value for SAML config under sonar.properties. I am not finding any good example on how to use sonarSecretPropertiesto load sonar.properties. I would really appreciate if you can share any insight on this. Thanks in advance

I haven't done this myself but from some upstream docs it looks like this is the syntax to add a secret with your secret properties. The key in that secret should be "secret.properties". Not sure if there's anything else required, but I'd recommend reviewing upstream the upstream repo that may have additional docs and assistance - https://github.com/SonarSource/helm-chart-sonarqube/tree/master/charts/sonarqube

I don't believe we have one. If that would be beneficial you could open a new issue ticket with that request but lets close out this initial ticket since these topics are no longer related to the initial issue.
