Summary Add Nexus to BigBang Charter

Relevant Situational Awareness/Context:

• Per the Incubation process for adding a new Big Bang Package
  • 1 Red Carpet Customer "I" wants Nexus "I" even is lending an Engineer to help with the effort.
  • IronBank plans to use Nexus to speed up IronBank build pipelines, and @ariel.shnitzer literally just uploaded a Nexus Helm Chart to repo1 a few hours before I started writing this.
  • An IronBank Image for Nexus Already Exists, and Grant mentioned he was able to successfully deploy the IB Nexus using BB UHC.
  • I've assigned the following 3 people as package owners:
    1. @grant.duncklee, he is the Engineer customer "I" lent to help with the effort, I asked if they'd mind being code owners and it was said "Following up- we are not opposed to being the code owners for Nexus. without a BB supported add-on we'd be on the hook for any maintenance related items anyway". He said he stood up BB UHC locally and was able to get Nexus deployed locally successfully, but there was no repo to contribute to.
    2. @kevin.wilder, he has historic situational awareness of Nexus.
    3. @ariel.shnitzer of IronBank will help Shepard this through as the inside man they have an IronBank image of Nexus, and he's even uploaded a Nexus Helm Chart to Repo1. I suggested he take it down and use the sandbox one to upstream to BB.
  • Sign-off by Gov, Major Dallemand and "I", I'm confident he will sign off on this.
  • You guys can architecture review next Charter meeting, but this used to be in the closed source implementation of BB and was later OBE (Overcome by Events) and removed per this convo)
