Simmons january updates
This MR is in response to the latest comment by the security team. The corrections are fairly minor so I went ahead and addressed them in the MR. The updated justifications are attached to this as well. If these are acceptable for you, please let me know and I can merge this into development and we can get this sent back up for approval.
