Per big-bang/product/packages/gitlab#264 (closed) we would like to remove any unneeded kyverno policies from test-values.yaml. Recent tests show that the minio-specific exceptions are no longer needed to pass CI given the current GitLab chart. Note: I haven't submitted an upstream patch to the gitlab/minio chart, but the policy exceptions seem to be unnecessary all the same based on this job's gitlab helm tests passing (test log).
